About The Website
This web site reflects some of the knowledge that we-Fred Stern, Ph.D., and Lois Feldman, Ph.D.-have accumulated over the years from helping graduate students individually, in groups and in workshops grapple with their dissertations. We have given many workshops over the years, including an eight-part series at City University Graduate Center in New York.
The web site is also informed by research that Dr. Stern did for his doctoral dissertation: The Effects of Separation-Individuation Conflicts on the Length of Time to Completion of the Dissertation. We are clinical psychologists in private practice in New York City.
